Save, back up and restore your city
Understand local saves, manual platform saves and device changes.
Local autosave
Harbor City saves your city in the browser on the game’s origin. A different browser, device or game origin has different storage. Private browsing or clearing site data can remove access to that local city. Export a city backup from City Archive before making changes.
Move between devices
Sign in to the same Twelva account on both devices. In the game, explicitly upload the city to Play, then use the platform restore action on the other device. These are manual actions: signing in alone does not upload or overwrite a city. Keep a local export as a second backup.
Resolve a conflict safely
If an upload reports a newer cloud revision, do not repeatedly overwrite it. Export the current city first, compare the available saves and deliberately choose the version to restore. Guest saves that conflict during account linking are archived in your passport. Contact support with the game version and error text if you cannot recover the city.
